Lets Make April Cool

The idea is to turn foolery on its head. Instead of sharing photos and images about April Fools day on social networking sites. Let's plant trees and send in your image along with your beautiful contribution to Mother Earth at contact@sricitynaturesociety.org . We will be glad to publish them on our Facebook Page. You don't have to be in SriCity to take part in this ‘April Cool Month’ Event.

Here’s how trees make a difference:

1. Trees improve air quality by creating oxygen. They also collect carbon, balancing harmful byproducts of fossil-fuel burning.
2. They minimize the effects of sun and wind, and they clean the air by catching dust, pollen and other impurities.
3. Planted in the right places around buildings, trees can considerably reduce air-conditioning costs. 
4. Trees increase property value.
5. Trees generate jobs and contribute raw materials for buildings, newspapers, books, etc. They are renewable, biodegradable and recyclable.
6. They offer shelter and food for wildlife such as birds, squirrels and bugs.
7. Trees make people feel good. Workers are extra productive when they see trees along their travel routes and from their office spaces.
8. Landscapes that include tree keeps us stress free, lower heart rates and helps us relax.
